I'm Lorenzo, a biotechnology student with a deep passion for food science and a growing commitment to sustainable, compassionate food choices. Three years ago, I began a personal journey toward a plant-based lifestyle, driven by ethical, environmental and health motivations.
Along the way, I noticed a recurring issue: many plant-based meat alternatives felt overly processed. Their ingredient lists were long, packed with additives, oils, refined carbohydrates, and excessive salt – compromising both nutrition and transparency. That realization inspired me to create FungiVeg: a simpler, more wholesome alternative rooted in both nature and science.
With FungiVeg, my mission is to offer a meat alternative that is truly convincing in every aspect. I want to demonstrate that it is possible to create delicious, healthy, and sustainable products without compromising.
My goal is to revolutionize the world of plant-based alternatives by using the simplest, most natural ingredients nature has to offer. I believe food should benefit people, animals, and the planet all at once.
